Postdoc Research Slam

Selected competitors will have three minutes to present their research in a pitch-style format. Judges will score based on communication style, comprehension, and engagement. The top three will receive a travel-allowance ($700, $500 or $250 in value before tax) and in-kind prizes from the University of Calgary.

4 p.m.: Reception begins while judges deliberate

4:30 p.m.: Judges return to announce winners
